Tiempos turbulentos de Creta y Grecia (1889-1923) en la obra de Nikos Kazantzakis
Resumen
La vida creativa de Kazantzakis se extiende durante la primera mitad del siglo XX. Su obra como filósofo, dramaturgo, poeta, novelista, periodista y traductor, recibió, sin duda, la influencia del contexto sociopolítico y cultural en que vivió. Testigo de hechos decisivos en la historia de su patria y del mundo, estudió, analizó, reflexionó y escribió sobre acontecimientos, ideas, movimientos ideológicos y religiosos. En este artículo, se examinan sucintamente los hechos que marcaron hitos en el acontecer helénico entre 1889 y 1923 y su relación con la trayectoria del escritor.
Abstract
The creative life of Kazantzakis extends across the first half of the twentieth century. His work as philosopher, dramatist, poet, novelist, journalist and translator, received, without a doubt, the influence of the sociopolitical and cultural context in which he lived. Witness of decisive facts in the history of his mother country and the world, he studied, analyzed, reflected and wrote on ideological and religious events, ideas, movements. In this article, the facts that became landmarks in Greek history between 1889 and 1923, and their relation to the trajectory of the writer, are succinctly analyzed .
